Gaelcholáiste Mhaigh Nuad, Gaeilge 24

Bhí lá iontach ag daltaí GCMN ag ceiliúradh an Ghaeilge leis an imeacht Gaeilge24. Téama na folláine a bhí i gceist agus bhí ranganna ióga, rang HIT, rang machnaimh agus go leor imeachtaí eile ar siúl. Lá álainn a bhí ann ag ceiliúradh an Ghaeilge! Buíochas mór le gach dalta agus múinteoir a bhí páirteach.

The students of GCMN celebrated the Irish language through taking part in Gaeilge24, a national challenge that aims to encourage young people to try speaking Irish non-stop for one whole day, 24 hours: at home, at school, in shops and businesses, around the town, in sports clubs and with friends. The theme of the day was that of well-being. To coincide with this theme, the students took part in yoga classes, HIT classes, meditation classes to name but a few events on the agenda for the busy day. A fantastic day was had by all, while celebrating our national language in a fun and engaging way! We greatly appreciated the work carried out by all of the students and teachers who took part.
