Ardscoil Rath Iomghain – Meitheal

Meitheal is a youth leadership programme which operates in 26 secondary schools in the Kildare and Leighlin diocese. The Meitheal Programme is designed to educate and empower young people in our school. It is the role of the Meitheal team to help the 1st years settle in and integrate into their new school environment. During the year, the group organize events to help the students to mix, get to know each other and improve peer relationships; they create a space for friendships to form, for confidence to grow and to encourage participation in school life. Meitheal groups, by their actions, try to create a positive atmosphere in Ard Scoil Rath Iomgháin. We are delighted to introduce our Meitheal Team for 2023/24 and wish them luck in their important work helping 1st Year students settle into secondary school!
