Dr. Mauel Lopez Vernaza and Eoin Geoghegan visited us for Science Week today. They discussed their roles in Plant Genetics and Forensic Science in the Dept. of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Backweston, Celbridge.
They gave advice on taking a science subject for the LC and the opportunities for a science graduate.

More success for the MEC equestrian club. Well done to Isobel Walsh, Keiko Currie, Kate Teahan and Sadhbh O’Toole who all competed in the Killossery Interschools competition on Sunday 12th November. Congratulations to the team who finished 3rd and Kate Teahan, who finished 2nd in the individual competition.
Ms King’s 5th year English class were busy annotating a Tracy K.Smith poem. Some brilliant points were noted and jotted on the board for further discussion.
