Piper’s Hill College Students represent Gaisce Kildare at Seanad na nÓg

On Thursday, 10th November, Ms. Collins accompanied four 5th Year students to Leinster House to take part in Seanad na nÓg 2022. Our students represented Gaisce Kildare (the four delegates are currently working towards their Gold Medals for the President’s Award). 60 young people from across the island of Ireland debated on a variety of issues. Our very own Gabriel Morut made an exceptional speech to the Seanad on the topic of ‘Education for Life’. After the debating concluded, the delegates voted that the topic of ‘Cost of Student Living’ would be brought forward to be discussed at a sitting of the Seanad.
