We are pleased to introduce the Spring into Everyday Literacy Calendar, designed to support literacy awareness through small, practical actions in everyday life. Reflecting the season of growth and renewal, the calendar encourages fresh starts and positive steps forward.
The calendar promotes confidence, wellbeing, and engagement with information, supporting individuals to take manageable steps in their learning. It includes a range of activities across four themes. Try This, Learn, Notice, and Connect, helping to build real-life skills in a clear and accessible way.
A range of resources and supports developed at local and national level are highlighted throughout the calendar to support individuals on their literacy journey.
We encourage organisations, practitioners, and learners to engage with the calendar and to share it within their networks.
