A Youth Work Support Needs Analysis Report for North Kildare and Southwest Wicklow.

This research, commissioned by KWETB and launched in March 2026, examines youth work support needs in North Kildare and Southwest Wicklow. It highlights significant gaps in services, including a lack of safe spaces, limited activities beyond sport, and barriers such as cost, transport, and safety concerns. Mental health challenges and a lack of opportunities for young people to have their voices heard also emerged as key issues. Overall, the findings point to a strong need for increased investment in youth services and youth spaces, particularly in these geographical locations.
