As per section 45 of the Act, the Finance Committee is established to assist the Board in its responsibilities in relation to financial matters.

The Finance Committee are required to meet at least 4 times annually, their responsibilities include but are not limited to; reporting to the Board whether the Chief Executive is implementing the Service Plan, considering the annual financial statements and recommending to the Board their approval. The Finance Committee membership consists of members of the Board and externally appointed members with expertise in financial matters.
