Public Sector Human Rights and Equality Duty

KWETB is committed to the development of a systematic approach to its Public Sector Human Rights and Equality Duty across all the pillars of the organisation. Section 42(2) of the 2014 Act

(a) eliminate discrimination,
(b) promote equality of opportunity and treatment of its staff and the persons to whom it provides services, and
(c) protect the human rights of its members, staff and the persons to whom it provides services.

In line with the Irish Human Rights and Equality Act (2014), for 2024 KWETB has put in place an implementation plan to address the requirements of the Duty as set out in Section 42(2) of the 2014 Act.
